I built the Speed Retreat to help you build velocity and throw sharper, quicker pitches. This is for pitchers who want more than a few drills in a crowded camp. By limiting the event to 30 pitchers, my staff and I can get our eyes on each athlete multiple times, coach the details, and create an environment where pitchers are challenged, supported, and encouraged to compete. Over two days, we’ll work with purpose, build confidence, and help each pitcher leave with a clearer understanding of what it takes to reach the next level.

Who This Speed Retreat is For
The Speed Retreat is designed for high school pitchers who are serious about competing at the next level and ready to take ownership of their development.
Athletes should arrive prepared to work, receive honest feedback, compete alongside other driven pitchers, and bring consistent effort throughout both days.
You do not have to be a finished pitcher. You do need to be coachable, committed, and willing to challenge yourself.
This experience is for pitchers who are ready to raise their standard.

Where will the retreat be held?
The retreat will be held at PWR Fastpitch in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

Who may apply?
The retreat is designed for high school pitchers in the graduating classes of 2027–2030 who are serious about developing their game and competing at the next level.
Is attendance limited?
Yes. The 2026 Speed Retreat is limited to 30 pitchers so Monica and her staff can provide meaningful instruction and individualized feedback.
Are individual lessons included?
No. Individual lessons are optional and scheduled separately. A limited number of lessons will be available beginning at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29.
Will pitchers need to bring a catcher?
Yes. Each pitcher must bring a catcher, and parents may not serve as catchers. If you need help securing a catcher, click here.
What is the alumni registration price?
Alumni registration is $650. A payment plan is available at checkout.
Is there a host hotel?
A discounted room block is being arranged for Speed Retreat families traveling to Lee’s Summit. Staying at the host hotel is optional. Hotel details and the booking link will be shared as soon as the agreement is finalized.
